Double-Turn laminar sealing rings combined

Product Description

Description:

Application “FK6 ASD” Outside clamping double rings (2 rings = 1 set) In contrast to the single wound laminar sealing rings “FK 3”, “FK6” double turn laminar sealing rings are double wound. They are used as grease seals for roller and plain bearings. They are also used as a protection seal in front of hermetically acting seal arrangements.

The “FK 6” double turn laminar sealing rings must meet special sealing requirements against grease leakage and against dust, dirt and splash water ingress. “FK 6” laminar rings provide a uniform radial tension and, in contrast to the “FK 3” laminar rings, they have no axial joint gap. The combined ring sets “FK6 ASKD” (additional sealing of the groove base diameter) optimize the sealing effect due to the increased labyrinth effect.

The “FK6 ASD” or “FK6 ASKD” assemblies are normally preferred over the “FK6 ISD” or “FK6 ISKD” due to their easier ring installation into the grooves of the ring carriers. Depending on the applications or the technical requirements, the ring carriers can be manufactured from steel, cast iron, light alloy or plastics.

Advantages of double turn laminar sealing rings

  1. The laminar sealing ring can adapt to the pressure and temperature of different working environments and has good sealing performance within the specified range, and the user can also adjust the sealing performance of the sealing ring appropriately according to the actual use situation.
  2. The laminar sealing ring has a stable friction coefficient. The friction between the device protected by the laminar sealing ring and the moving parts should be kept as small as possible and kept within the specified range, which is critical to prolonging the service life of the equipment and preventing the equipment from being damaged.
  3. The laminar sealing ring has good corrosion resistance. Generally, in the use environment of a laminar sealing ring, it is difficult to avoid some chemical reactions between gas and liquid. The good corrosion resistance of the laminar sealing ring enables it to maintain a long service life and delay the speed of aging.
  4. Strong wear resistance. Under long-term work and high-intensity pressure, the friction consumption is very small, and it has good working quality.
  5. The laminar sealing ring has a simple structure, which is convenient in use, maintenance, and replacement, which also improves its service life to a certain extent.

How can you determine if a laminar seal ring is the right choice for your application?

The basics of double turn laminar sealing rings

Double turn laminar sealing rings are an important part of many applications, but it can be difficult to determine if they are the right choice for your needs. In order to decide if a laminar seal ring is right for you, it is important to understand the basics of how they work. Laminar seal rings rely on a smooth, uninterrupted flow of fluid to create a seal. This makes them ideal for applications where turbulence or other factors could compromise the seal. If you are unsure if a laminar seal ring is the right choice for your application, contact a trusted supplier for advice.

How to choose a laminar seal ring

When looking for double turn laminar sealing rings, there are a few factors you need to consider. The first is the material the ring is made of. You’ll want to choose a material that can withstand the temperatures and chemicals in your application. The second factor is the size of the ring. You’ll need to make sure the ring is the right size for your application. The last factor is the type of seal you need. There are several different types of seals, so you’ll need to choose the one that best meets your needs.

Factors to consider when choosing a laminar seal ring

When choosing double turn laminar sealing rings, there are a few factors to consider. The first is the type of media that will be flowing through the seal. Laminar seal rings are best suited for fluids that are relatively non-viscous and non-turbulent. The second factor to consider is the operating temperature and pressure of the system. Laminar seal rings can handle moderate temperatures and pressures, but if you need a more robust seal, you may need to consider a different type of seal ring. Finally, you should consider the size and shape of the ring. Laminar seal rings are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to fit most applications.

Benefits of laminar seal rings

Double turn laminar sealing rings can provide a number of benefits for your application, including:
-Improved performance
-Reduced leakage
-Longer life
-Smaller size
